This is a stunning example of a large vintage teachers desk.

Made from solid oak, this desk bares the marks of classroom use, adding to the vintage appeal.
The top of the desk has a few scratches, we’ve left them as we didn’t want to run the risk of stripping back and ruining the original honey colour and beauty. The desk dates back to the the 1940s/50s.

The desk features two solid oak drawers on the left, plus one pull-out rest and one large, deep drawer (disguised as 2) on the right, plus a pull-out rest. We gave the inside bottoms of the drawers a little lick of paint as they were heavily stained with ink and paint. There is no key unfortunately and the desk is extremely heavy as you can imagine…
