Hello, I’m Josie - founder of The House of Mac.
A little bit about me if you are interested! I began my career as a graphic designer, a fair few years ago now. After having children I started making home furnishings which allowed me to work from home and look after the kids.
A few years before covid hit I set up The House of Mac and started buying and selling vintage furniture, it was all going well until Covid hit and the auctions closed. With no stock to sell I decided to take a different path and re-train as a gardener (another one of my passions).
I was fortunate to work on a beautiful estate in Wiltshire for a couple of years until a back injury upsettingly put a stop to that wonderful job.
With gardening now a hobby I’m back to finding lots of lovely vintage furniture for your homes & gardens and back to creating bespoke headboards.
